Bunting

Our craft group meet once a fortnight in the Village Hall, which is located in Adwick upon Dearne.

The hall was originally built to be used as the village school.  Of course, things change and the children of the village now attend a new modern, large school a short distance away.  The building then became the village hall - a place where the villagers can meet up for social evenings and group meetings.

The building is very quaint - one evening we decided to make some vintage style bunting - which could be used at events during the course of the year.

At the moment I don't have any photos of the bunting we made, but will do my best to get a photo on here soon.

Top O' the Morning

Just before last Christmas, one of our members, Janine, gave us a sugarcraft demonstration crafting a little Santa Claus out of sugar paste, maltesers and rolo chocolates (yum yum).  Sadly, we forgot to get some photos of the demonstration.

A few weeks ago Janine was invited to give another demonstration, this time  - how to make a little St Patricks Day Leprechauns.

AMAZING HOW EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM SEEMED TO DEVELOP A CHARACTER OF THEIR OWN

The group thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration.  We were all like little children giggling - at the end of the evening we left carefully carrying the 'wee fellas' home.
